ExDeCo Retail Application

ExDeCo Retail (Extranet Dealer Communication Retail) is an application that enables direct communication between the importer and its distributors/stores, using the Internet. The goal of the application is to improve the quality of information and reduce its costs in this relationship.

Currently

Information exchange between the importer and distributors/stores is done using the telephone, fax, and possibly email. One or more persons from the distributor/store formulate information requests or orders and address them to the importer/another distributor. The importer/distributor processes these requests and sends the responses. This information flow has high costs (hours per person, phone, fax), and the information is obtained in a relatively long time. Furthermore, the management of multiple requests and the lack of a clear offer system inevitably leads to human errors.

Using ExDeCo Retail

• Stores/distributors can connect through the ExDeCo application to the importer/distributor's database, can (without the risk of making incorrect selections) make requests and get answers immediately, and can input data that is saved directly into the database—all without needing the intervention of persons from the importer/distributor side. This working method brings significant cost reductions for everyone, and the time to obtain and transmit information is reduced from hours/days to seconds/minutes.
• Data can be entered simultaneously by multiple stores/dealers, thus eliminating the "waiting line." Dealers are responsible for the data entered and are assured that exactly what they have ordered is transmitted further. Through ExDeCo, they will always know the status of their orders.
• The importer/distributor can easily manage both the product offer and the logistics of the orders received through their application.

Product Functions

The user creating an order using the ExDeCo Retail application will benefit from the following features:

• Can check the stock of the importer/distributor.
• Can reserve the products they want.
• Can view a situation of all their reservations, along with the reservation details.
• Has access to the entire product offer of the importer/distributor with all necessary details (validity period, prices, etc.).
• Can check the status of their orders.
